Anthony David Gonzalez, a former American tight end, played for 17 seasons in the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be to be one of the top tight ends to ever play. Alongside being the leader in receiving yards and third place in total receptions, Gonzalez was also the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End now works as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF from the start of the 2017 NFL season. The pregame program, lasting an hour, precedes FOX NFL Sunday that airs every Sunday, at 11 AM ET throughout the NFL Season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons to a two-year, $14 million contract, despite his claim that the Falcons would let him go after the 2013 season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 an age) was the one of the NFL's top receivers.
